1. What Moxunos is
Moxunos, operated by NRD Software (Denmark), helps you find what you and your friends can watch across your own streaming subscriptions, and keeps playback in sync through a browser extension. Everyone watches on their own subscription, in their own browser — Moxunos does not host, proxy or re-stream any video.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- Provide accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- We may reclaim or change a username that is offensive, misleading or impersonates someone else.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account). See the privacy policy for what happens to your data.
3. Your streaming subscriptions
Moxunos coordinates — it does not provide content. Watching anything requires your own subscription with the relevant streaming service, and your use of those services is governed by their terms, not ours. Moxunos is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Prime Video, SkyShowtime, Viaplay, YouTube or any other provider; their names and logos belong to their owners.
4. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service. That includes: attempting to gain unauthorized access, probing or overloading the service; scraping or bulk-extracting our data; harassing or abusing other people in rooms or chat; impersonating others; and any use that breaks the law or the terms of the streaming services you use. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
5. Your content
Chat messages, title suggestions, votes and reports you submit stay yours. You give us the technical permission to store and show them to the people they are meant for — that is the whole purpose. We may remove content that violates these terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Moxunos service — its code, design, name and logo — belongs to NRD Software; MOXUNOS is used as a trademark of NRD Software. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the service; nothing in these terms transfers ownership of it to you, and nothing transfers ownership of your content to us. Title metadata and artwork belong to their respective owners and are provided via TMDB.
7. The browser extension
The extension synchronises play, pause and seek with your room. The streaming services' players change without notice, so a service that works today can break tomorrow; we mark honestly in the app which services have verified sync and repair breakage as fast as we can, but synchronisation is provided as-is.
8. Availability data
Title and availability information comes from TMDB (this product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB), with streaming availability provided by JustWatch. We show it in good faith, with a visible timestamp for when it was verified — but catalogues change daily. Always confirm on the provider before making decisions such as buying a subscription, and use the Report wrong link on any title page when reality disagrees.
9. Beta
Moxunos is under active development. Features may change, break or be removed, and we make no promise of uninterrupted availability. We announce meaningful changes on the site.
10. Liability
The service is free and provided "as is". NRD Software is not liable for indirect losses or for the content, availability or actions of third-party streaming services. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Moxunos and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and — with reasonable notice on the site — retire the service or parts of it.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. For significant changes we will give notice on the site (or by email for material changes) before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the revised terms. Notices from us by email or on the site count as being in writing.
13. Miscellaneous
If a provision of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. We may assign this agreement as part of a business transfer; you may not assign your account. Neither side is liable for what is genuinely outside its reasonable control. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about the service.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes belong to the Danish courts — without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
