Season-level answers

A show can be on Netflix for seasons 1–8 and gone by season 9. Most sites answer at title level and get it wrong. We check each season, so the green checkmark actually means something.

Your group's shared services

Add the services you subscribe to. Moxunos only surfaces titles everyone in the group can watch — and says so honestly when there's no overlap, instead of sending you to a dead end.

Put candidates on a shared shortlist, vote, and veto with a reason. No more "I don't know, what do you want to watch?"

Watch in sync

Everyone plays on their own subscription, in their own browser, at the same moment. Pause here, it pauses there. Nothing is streamed or re-broadcast — we only send play, pause and seek.

How it works

  1. Tell us what you subscribe to. Just the services — never a password, never a streaming login.
  2. Find something together. Search or browse; every result says who in the group can watch it, on which service, for the exact season.
  3. Press play together. Everyone opens the title on their own account. The browser extension keeps you in sync — and corrects drift while you watch.

Get the extension

The extension is the piece that makes synchronised playback work. It's a thin sync layer: it reads the player's position and sends play, pause and seek to the room. No video ever passes through us — everyone watches on their own subscription, in their own browser.

Works in Chrome and Edge. YouTube and Netflix are supported today; Disney+ and Max get the link hand-off, with sync following.

i Moxunos is in beta, so the extension isn't in the Chrome Web Store yet — you load it yourself in developer mode. It takes about a minute.
  1. Download the file above and unzip it somewhere you'll keep it.
  2. Open chrome://extensions — or edge://extensions in Edge.
  3. Turn on Developer mode (top right).
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
  5. Sign in to Moxunos in the same browser — that's how the extension knows it's you.

What Moxunos doesn't do

We don't stream anything, and we don't want your streaming passwords. Moxunos never asks for a Netflix or Disney+ login — only which services you pay for, so it can work out what your group has in common. Everyone watches on their own subscription. That's the whole design.
